When the “Spirit Squad” boards hit my inbox, my daughter was a flyer on a highly-competitive HS cheer team, and the Netflix show Cheer was trending. We were watching the show, at the same time we were challenged with finding authentic cheerleaders that could perform higher level stunts. Timing couldn’t have been better to capture a bit of cultural lightning in a bottle, and cast the star of Cheer, Morgan. This two-year social campaign gave us the opportunity to capture a ton of fun content, aimed at a younger buyer.
